Mission

The mission of T-ZEN is to provide training and development opportunities to compatriots in vulnerable and fragile situations, aiming to improve their quality of life and promote their integration into society by offering tools and resources that allow them to overcome their challenges, achieve their goals, and value and preserve their cultural traditions. At the same time, T-ZEN fosters cultural exchange, promoting a better understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity between migrants and Chilean society.

We are committed to fostering cultural integration through respect, appreciation, and celebration of the traditions and customs of both migrants and Chileans, promoting an inclusive and pluralistic environment.

Objective

Train, educate and empower: To offer educational programs in areas such as technology, health, employability, and culture to improve the skills and competencies of compatriots, strengthening both their professional and personal development. Cultural training will be key to help migrants recognize and contribute their traditions in the integration process.
Advise and guide: To provide advice and guidance to compatriots to help them make informed decisions, find appropriate solutions, and recognize the importance of culture as a bridge to their integration into Chilean society.
Expand and promote inclusion and equality: To encourage active participation, commitment, and respect for diverse cultures, promoting equal opportunities and social responsibility. In this regard, efforts will be made to create a space where cultural traditions are shared and appreciated in both social and professional settings.

The main purpose of the organization is to provide comprehensive support and services to migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced persons to assist in their resettlement, integration, and empowerment. This includes, but is not limited to:

Provide Basic Needs: Offer food, shelter, clothing, and emergency assistance to refugees and displaced persons.
Facilitate Access to Education: Support educational opportunities, language training, and vocational skills development to help refugees achieve self-sufficiency, incorporating cultural aspects for better adaptation.
Promote Health and Well-being: Ensure access to medical care, mental health services, and wellness programs to support the physical and emotional health of refugees, respecting and recognizing cultural differences that may impact their well-being.
Legal Assistance and Advocacy: Provide legal support, advocacy, and representation to help refugees navigate migration processes and secure their legal rights.
Community Integration: Promote social and economic integration through community engagement, cultural orientation, and support networks, fostering mutual understanding and respect for the diverse cultures present in the community.
Awareness and Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and well-being of refugees, raise public awareness about the issues they face, and influence policy changes to promote humanitarian support and protection, highlighting the value that cultural diversity brings to society.
Collaboration with Partners: Work with local, national, and international partners to coordinate and improve services, programs, and resources available to refugees, integrating culture as a key element in the migrants’ integration process.

Secondary Purpose

The secondary purpose of the organization is to promote Chilean culture internationally and encourage the integration of migrants' cultures into Chilean society, highlighting the contributions of migrants and their valuable cultural input. T-ZEN fosters a cultural exchange space that encourages coexistence, mutual respect, and cultural enrichment among diverse communities.
